Bargello Quilting

Beginner to Intermediate

Let's kick off the Advanced Technique Series with a Bargello.  By definition, a bargello quilt is one that is made of strips of fabric sewn together to create movement. These patterns are very suitable for beginning quilters. If you can sew a straight seam, you can do this! Even though there are so many curves and shapes featured on the quilt, there is no curved piecing whatsoever. More advanced quilters find enjoyment with quilting bargello as well with the simple yet creative piecework and color play.
